Street date is April 25, 39.99€, FR/NL subs. Two storyboards included:

It will be released concurrently to Harmaggedon, 54.99€, FR subs, limited to 499 units and includes:
- Entire storyboard (230p, colour)
- All production materials (genga, settei) in Kadokawa's archives (126p, colour)

Addendum: details for the upcoming The Dagger of Kamui BD were published in the newsletter:

• Entire storyboard (~250 pages?)
• Booklet with production materials (> 100 pages?), including Moribi Murano design work.
• Audio: JPN / FRA (dub 1) / FRA (dub 2)
• Subs: FRA

Per a facebook comment from them, Kamui is not coming so soon, they are trying to clear the rights to the soundtrack.

Ugh, with shipping and tax, that 86 Steelbook is almost as much as the typical overpriced Sentai steelbook. Hopefully there will be some sort of price decrease before then.

Plus, I'm afraid it will arrive damaged with it packed and shipped from Amazon UK to the US.

It's also on AOL and ATA, who are better at packing than Amazon UK. It probably will last long enough to combine it with other items to deal with the shipping costs better.

Look like bootlegs. Anyway, I expect the same master as Tanuko, as they own the European rights to the movie so they must have sub-licensed it from them.

The distributor has not yet stated if this was a new scan or a an upscale. Akin to The Dagger of Kamui, there are no Blu-ray available (yet) and the licensor is Kadokawa. We can only hope they did a two birds one stone-thing and scanned the original film of this Rintaro movie.

I already contacted Cinestrange and they confirmed their master doesn't have the dimming & interlacing issues of the Tanuko BD.
Also they will include the German dub as well.

Regarding the Tanuko rights?
I don't know details. But given that they only planned for a limited run Blu-ray release, their rights might be either non-exclusive or only cover an unusual short time frame.

Non-exclusive Home Video rights is pretty much unheard of, and they would have licensed more title from TMS than that, assurely. Anyway we will find out easily if they rip Discotek BD or get a proper master from the licensor.
