Target General Deals Thread

From the last B2G1 sale. My ordered shipped out 07/08/25 by FedEx. On 07/18/25 my tracking info shows that Shipment information sent to U.S. Postal Service. Delivery date says 08/02/25. Bunch of BS.

At this point I'm wondering if the supplier is considering the target sale as damage liquidation, I ordered enough to merit a box and even in the box all three slipcovers were really damaged. I dont think I've ever received a slipcover or box that was pristine in any of these sales.

Most of the stuff I’ve order from them was OK but I’ve received enough damaged items I’m wary about ordering boutique releases and steelbooks during their sales.

Should we be worried that Target still doesn't have Cobra or The Stuff for sale on their site? They also don't have either Texas Chainsaw 4Ks or Poseidon up for pre-order. I hope this doesn't mean they will no longer carry Arrow Video titles.

Kingdom of Heaven UHD is back in stock. Hopefully my luck holds out with target's steelbook shipping, as I saved my $20 after $150 discount just to bring it down to real-world pricing, since I couldn't get it thru their last bogo. There's no telling when it'll finally be priced to move - I'm guessing BF at the earliest, possibly BF 2026, assuming the whole limited thing is just marketing.

Aw, I shouldn't have canceled my preorder with them then! The original release date was July 22nd, and I thought Target was just being Target and delaying it. Then I noticed the release actually got pushed back a week.

Hopefully Amazon actually delivers it on release date.

What the hell is happening with UPS lately? Had to call Target again today. This is my 2nd straight Target order where my items being shipped by UPS got lost in the ether and never were delivered!

I have one that's taken 9 days so far! Usually it takes about 5 days to get to me.

FedEx was two days late on one of my deliveries. Waited all day for it on the day they said it was coming while tracking showed no updates for days. Then at the end of the day tracking tells me it's in another state!

I have two games I ordered over two weeks ago and still don't have them. UPS apparently misread my zip code and tossed the item to two different states while the other one keeps bouncing around IN my state but nowhere near me. Ugh.

The weirdest part of my last order is UPS doesn't even show ever receiving the items so they could be shipped and I waited 20 days to contact Target about it. They are putting them through to be shipped again this week. That makes no sense to me.

It won't matter. Preorders have already sold out at target and I suspect most places, like they do for all Disney limited steels that are profoundly underproduced to keep prices inflated, which in the real world just fuels the scalper market.

I was keeping a list under the Master and Commander 4K SteelBook thread updating it multiple times a day as most retailers were adding more pre-orders, but since about last Friday, everyone except Barnes and Noble has sold-out of their allotment. I kept the list up if you want to check it on that thread so people had a quick access to check multiple retailers via the links I provided. Right now the only one that still has them is Barnes and Noble but they also happen to be the most expensive. Things could change by the tie release day is here, i will try to keep the list up to date as I can.

Thanks, but I'm patient. I can't afford not to be with Disney these days. It's sad to think about. I probably spent as much as $2000 on Disney/Fox/Marvel/Lucas product (mostly discs) in a single year when DMC was still active. Not every year, but I know I got close to that mark multiple times. This year, my Disney/Fox/Marvel/Lucas purchases might not reach $200, since they seem to have yet to announce any new D+ series for UHD or BD.
