The show is great! It was by far my favorite new show from last season's crop. I'll be getting it when it drops in price, because I'm cheap.

I was in my Best Buy yesterday and didn't see it. I haven't seen every episode of the show but the ones I have seen I have loved it. It reminds me alot of the X-Files back when it was good. I will be picking this up next week.

I have it pre-ordered. I loved the series from the start. J.J. Abrams set the show up so that people that missed a episode wouldn't be totally lost. Unlike a certain show.

I say give the show a chance. It is kind of slow at first, but picks up around mid season. Walter Bishop is a loveable character that you will fall in love with. He does or says something hilarious in every episode. Fringe was my favorite new show last year. The season finale was awesome with a shocking surprise ending. I can't wait for season two!

I watched the Pilot, which was a free download on iTunes a while back, and thought it was great. I'll definitely pick up if the price lowers.

I concur. I'm glad I don't have to stop going in this thread like I have had to do a few times in the past.

I really want it on Blu, but Target is tempting me with a DVD-only bonus disc.

It doesn't actually say in the ad that it only comes with the DVD version, so you should be able to get it with the BD version too.

I watched the pilot because of a last minute preview that reminded me it was about to come on. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's now one of my favorite shows on TV. Having said that, however, I doubt I'll be picking it up on blu. I don't find myself wanting to rewatch TV episodes often enough to make them worth buying.

I have enjoyed what I have seen thus far. It starts off slow (the season) but it seems to get better as the season progresses. Give it a shot.

By the way, are those symbols that flash up between chapters still included or were they only in the TV broadcast version?

Awesome, thanks. My set is still on its way (I'm from Europe) but I'm looking forward to it even more now. What an amazing show.

No problem. I agree about the show. It's not my favorite, but I am really enjoying it so far (I'm 8 episodes in). The PQ is pretty good too (a little grainy, but I'd rather have that than it DNR'd).

I'm also 8 episodes in, and really enjoying it. I just wish the set had been released a few weeks earlier so I could have finished watching all 20 episodes before season 2 started on the 17th. (I didn't want to see it since I wasn't finished with season 1.) Don't studios usually give you a little more breathing room between the release of a TV show's previous season on DVD/Blu and the start of the new season? With 'Fringe' there were just 9 days separating the release of season 1 on DVD/Blu and the start of season 2 on TV.
