I do get the feeling that significant parts of the former MCU cinema audience these days have shifted to watching the films on Disney+ which is obviously worth a significant amount to Disney, they seem to put more effort into adverting the "streaming premier" of films these days.

Watched it today and generally I would say very positive, I can see the point some make about it being a bit rushed character wise but honestly I felt the casting and performances really got that across without needing a ton of writting.

The golden MCU era I think always depended heavily on that for a lot of its characters and this was probably the best cast MCU film post End Game for me, either this or Black Widow. Pascal and Quinn especially I think work very well indeed bringing a lot of depth to the characters without having the script do the legwork for them.

You yourself posted the latest total, I think it’s now up to $32 billion or whatever.
But the Disney Board is asking "What have you done for me lately?"

That money's been spent!

Saw it today in a fairly packed theater. Underwhelming at best. Dark cinematography and very hackneyed story. Didn't help that several people near me were snoring, especially during the first half of the film. I just don't know what all the hubbub is about. Hollywood is sleepwalking. Again.

This does have some truth to it, Disney only gets a share of the box-office but it gets pretty much 100% of what subscribers pay, I think.

Regardless, the MCU has already made close to $10b just since 2021. Every studio in Hollywood would kill for a franchise that made those kinds of numbers during this downturn.

If you're gonna make up stories at least try and make them believable. In 50 years of going to the movies I've never heard one person snoring much less several. Unless maybe you attended a special retirement center screening?

I don't know if I snore or not, but a few years ago, the cleaning crew woke me up after a movie.

Anyway, I just got out of my 13th viewing and it just keeps getting better every single time.

My theater finally got the posters!

Gonna try to catch this over the coming weekend…Watched the original 2 films recently just for fun. Love Jessica Alba’s Invisible woman. Love the whole cast actually. Also love the Silver Surfer.

I saw it in Prime, so my experience may be different. But there might be a problem with the theater, the only things I can thing of being potentially darker, was
[Show spoiler]Galactus’ ship
. But it sounds like your theaters projection system is faulty.

While not a common occurrence, I've been in theaters a few times when someone started snoring. First encountered this 40 years ago in a downtown theater that played triple features until 3:00 AM.

You're doing your best to help First Steps get to One Billion in Box Office.

Keep up the good work!
