If you want to see a robotic police officer in person, go to Dubai:

No, it's not as impressive as what Paul Verhoeven, Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner came up with, but it is a robotic police officer. There are more impressive humanoid robots out there, though. Here's the HONDA Asimo:

But Robocop isn’t a robot, he is a human being with cybernetic implants.

Robocop is a living breathing human being with a soul.

What you are showing examples of are inanimate objects.

Fictional Robots are so useful and cool even if they are nefarious. Real world robots can be taken out by a bullet, curb and or a shallow pool of water.

Yes, robots have limits. That was part of the point of "RoboCop". The 100% machine known as ED-209 failed miserably by shooting an unarmed and terrified Mr. Kinney, and that led to the RoboCop project being greenlit, which was a robotic body with a human brain as the CPU, and a human torso powering the CPU, which was shielded by bulletproof armor.

Never forget what happened when the ED-209 reached the stairs. Also, never forget the "RoboCop" tagline, which is: "Part man. Part machine. All cop."

The 1935 film "Werewolf of London" had the main character seeing who was at the door by looking at a triangular screen. It predicted the Ring doorbell cameras 88 years before they became available.

Well, Contagion perfectly predicted Covid. It even got the cause of the virus (a bat) down to a T, which is scary to think about.
