Glad the animated TMNT isn’t part of the set though, if this was some larger set I suspect it would have been, but still would like to see Arrow give that one an upgrade as well just on its own.

I hear ya. I was kind of hoping they include some sort of hardcover TMNT comic collection, like they did for the Gamera Collection, but that was perhaps too costly in terms of licensing, packaging, etc..

Thank God they didn’t go for a giant fancy box set like they did with Gamera. I’m a bit annoyed that these aren’t individual releases, just like the first Jaws deserved a standalone release, I’ve always felt the original TMNT movie should be treated separately. It’s such a better film than the sequels.

That said, at least they’re giving it the regular Arrow deluxe treatment, rather than packaging it like a kids’ product with oversized boxes, pizza-themed extras, or comic books. If I want to read TMNT comics, I’ll buy the comics, not the movies! :P

So overall, I’d say this is mostly a win! Also, I like Matt Frank (his art for Tremors is pretty frigging awesome) but here the OG art easily wins.

I really do like the exclusive art but since day 1 I’ve been saying I’d love a box with the OG poster of the first one. Sure the word “trilogy” is included but I’m all in on that original art.

Cannot wait to see what’s included. And really can’t wait to have this in hand!

I don't feel knowledgeable enough to speculate. Though with Amazon Prime or Target Red Card, that's the shipping fee gone, at least.
