Well since FCE is going for something as obscure as that then Gas might make a lot of sense for them to do. I think Gas 1981 fits right in with their release slate. Same with That Was Then This is Now, and the Gambler.

When it first came out, some people descried it as "the Jewish version of The Graduate." Actually, I preferred Goodbye, Columbus to The Graduate, although both were good films.

If you've ever been fortunate to pitch woo to someone clearly out of your league, and have it recoprocated, however briefly, you should find the film relatable.
A little like Baby, It's You, GC wasn't a film I was actively pining for. But now that it's getting a release, it's going to one of the most looked forwarded to of the rest of the year for me. Especially since this will be a Bd premiere. FCE sure does make the most of a very limited release slate. |

![]() If Fun City fancied releasing the 1963 Paramount film WIVES AND LOVERS, which has never been released to any homevideo format before, I'd be glad to buy a couple of 'em. |

Definitely not heard of film Spike of Bensonhurst until seeing the post on FCE's Facebook page, followed by the previous two posts in this thread. Have watched the trailer. Going by the year the film is credited with, it was before Sasha Mitchell joined Dallas and Talisa Soto appeared in Licence to Kill.

Vinegar Syndrome used to do this where products released the month before were on sale the following month during the sale. That's when they heard feedback and created the six month plus grace period (looks to be 9 in some cases for Severin now).
Let's see if FCE gets the similar type of feedback. |

I watched the Shirley MacClaine movie 'Desperate Characters' the other night. Would make an excellent FCE.
