Yup! Downloaded PS1/PSP games work on all PSP models (as long as you have a memory stick in them to store the game on.

Do you guys think they are going to wait to release the games on psn until 10/1. I know there are about 90 games now, but that would suck if they don't release all the games until that night.

I forget off the top of my head where its mentioned, but apparently they are only releasing a limited amount of UMD titles on the PSN on 10/01/09.

That's kind of dissapointing. I could only think of one game in the store I want right now. What am I supposed to play on my new psp.

Yeah, I'm hoping that one of the UMD titles they are releasing on 10/01/09 is Final Fantasy: Dissidia.

Yeah, there have been a few games I want but holding out until the go comes out. You would think they would have a lot of titles available at launch. I was all excited for gran turismo but I don't even know if I even want that one anymore. I want more than one or two games at launch.

I'm guessing that they will announce their lineup later this week at the TGS Show.

Both due next year outside of Japan, fortunately I'm in no hurry to take blurry pictures with my PSP camera Full specs, plus other peripherals:

http://scei.co.jp/corporate/release/090924c_e.html

I assume most Bluetooth standard peripherals with the relevant profiles will be compatible as mono and stereo headsets.

I'm a bit confused at the convertor, it looks like it locks in the PSP go's sliding screen, which would mean you couldn't use it for games invizimals?

*2 Converter Cable Adaptor can be used with the sliding display is opened or closed. Bluetooth function is not available when Converter Cable Adaptor is connected to Multi use connector
Looks like it fixes to the top only, plug goes into the bottom and there's enough slack on the cable to reach when the go's opened.

Default Bluetooth Stereo Head-set Receiver

Bluetooth Stereo Head-set Receiver

Quote:
With a sleek design that matches perfectly with PSPgo, users will be able to enjoy a variety of entertainment content sounds comfortably through the Bluetooth wireless technology with the combination of a commercially available head-phone and head-set (head-set not included). The Bluetooth Stereo Head-set Receiver pairs easily with PSPgo by simply holding the power button of the Receiver, and operation buttons on the Receiver will also enable users to instantly play, stop, pause, forward, rewind, and adjust the volume of music and videos. Additionally, the receiver can be paired with up to eight Bluetooth devices by using the Multi Pairing Feature.
That actually seems really cool.

SCEE rewards plan

This is in addition to the free GT PSP if you're buying within the first 10 days after release.

Quote:
The PSPgo rewards scheme will allow you to kick start your Go collection with a couple of free games for those who currently own an older PSP.

What you'll be able to do is download 3 games from a selection of 17, these can either be games from your current UMD collection or 3 new titles. The full list is as follows:

Killzone Liberation
Medievil
Wipeout Pure
Buzz Brain Bender
Buzz Master Quiz
SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Everybody's Golf
Resistance: Retribution
Syphon Filter Dark Mirror
Lemmings
LocoRoco
Patapon
Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
Echochrome
Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
Daxter

The process of obtaining these titles is as follows

1. Unwrap your shiny new PSPgo and start it up
2. Connect to PlayStation®Network and activate your new or existing PlayStation Network account for PSPgo Rewards
3. Start up your current PSP and connect to PlayStation Network
4. Login using the same PlayStation Network account , and launch PlayStation®Store
5. Pop one of your UMDs into the drive of your current PSP and register on PSPgo Rewards when prompted
6. Download a PSPgo theme
7. Wait for your email voucher for your three free games
8. Choose, download and enjoy!

This is going to begin on 1 October 2009 and will run until 31 March 2010.
I'll be trying two new games, MediEvil and Killzone Liberation I think. Not sure what to choose for the third.

I already have Wipeout Pure, Resistance: Retribution, LocoRoco and Daxter but don't plan to replay them.

Seriously. This comes out in a week and there is no more info in the US than when they first announced the thing.
