So the first of the Lionsgate Limited steelbooks is now OOP. Unless they decide to do a second pressing. Wouldn't be too Limited though if they do that.

On the podcast with the guy from Lionsgate they did seem to imply that it was 10,000 or less for the Tarantino steels in their first pressing. The fact that they said that seems to imply they'll be doing more pressings if/when they sell out, so I guess we'll see.

They can always do a new re-release with better art. Honestly, that movie is released and re-released over and over. Do you think this is the last 4K SteelBook of APOCALYPSE NOW we will ever see? I don't think so.

Can we please get a normal keepcase edition of this, Lionsgate.

That cardboard version was not sturdy and the steelbook has stacked discs.

So how does the Liongate Steelbook edition compare to this one from Arthaus (which has the restored theatrical English 5.1 mix on their UHD and the blu-rays are region free housed in an amaray case inside a slipbox, with the discs on separate hubs).

It’s the exact same as all the prior Lionsgate US releases which is (I believe) the exact same PQ as any of the other StudioCanal/Arthaus releases. The Eagle 4K is the only one with different PQ. The audio is the only difference.
