This is why personally I don't bother trying to jump in. Once upon a time there was a glitch to make money for GTA Online and I think I got a fair few million out of it and didn't spend everything but enough to get the best cars and upgrades at that point way back, but since then it's like R* felt like real life inflation was needed for prices and they needed to make it harder to earn and keep people in a grind to upgrade or buy "cash" on their MTX model.

I don't mind GTA Online people so successful and lucrative for them. I just abhor the fact that it cost us single player DLC and imo getting a sequel during the entire PS4 gen. For the first time in history of Playstation we never got a single new GTA entry. Every platform prior to PS4 we had gotten more than just one. They literally dragged this out from end of PS3 into PS4 and then now 5 years later in the PS5 lifecycle. PS6 will get a GTA 6 remaster and then basically another re-release on PS7 and probably PS8 at the rate they make them now

Nah, after 6 comes out, the 5 will be forgotten and they will start releasing a remaster of the 6 for each next generation of consoles, putting everything into it. The multiplayer may continue to exist, but I don't believe there will be any more new versions.
