I got the Japanese release of the Motion Picture Soundtrack in the mail earlier this week. This release has the edited Hero Turtles versions of the tracks Turtle Power and Splinter's Tale I & II. The booklet features the original lyrics.

It will probably take a few days for the new screenings to be loaded on the Fathom and Fandango websites.
Good. I unfortunately couldn't find the time to see Clue, even though Clue was Paramount, but I still want to see TMNT in a theater again. Think I may have seen it like three times in '90. I'd absolutely love to see the original The Naked Gun in a theater; it'd be nice if they showed it as the new film starts to phase out of theaters.

Is this the cheapest we've seen for us Canadians so far?

Not now. Was just coming in to post Unobstructed View has now listed the set.

UV:
$82.49
+ $10 box set charge = $92.49
+ 13% tax = $104.51

So, that's $17 cheaper than Amazon.com even with their boxset charge.

of course, assuming that you order it with something else to get free shipping but, even if you don't, adding $6 shipping brings it to CAD$111.29 which is still cheaper.

Apologies if this was already answered and I missed it, but for those who caught the Fathom re-release in theaters, what exactly played before the film?

I caught a screening at my theater and arrived at the listed showtime, but the film had surprisingly already started (no previews, I guess) and I missed whatever played before the film.

Here in Canada it was playing at Landmark Cinemas (and not even in all their locations) and their site had a disclaimer that all of the Fathom Events bonus material was NOT being screened.

As for the Canadian cost of this set, I mean.....maybe there will be some Black Friday deals or coupons to take advantage of. What am I saying? Yeah right.

Will there be a standard edition that includes all 3 movies?

I'm just looking to get the 1080 set.

At least Robocop 3 is better than Prime Directives.

Which isn't saying much.

Fathom events always start at the scheduled start time even at AMC.

You didn’t miss much (the alternate ending has been on YouTube for years and hopefully will be on Arrow’s release). And as for the very brief clips from deleted scenes, I would expect these on the Arrow release too (if we’re really lucky maybe the full scenes without Steven Barron talking over them, as that’s how it was presented by Fathom). The documentary crew that discovered them said they were just part of archived dailies, so I hope any material available to them would be available to Arrow too. I’ll be shocked if it’s not, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The cheaper price leads me to believe it wont have many features, hope I’m wrong.

I meant will there be a 'non-limited edition' release?

I hope there is more physical goodies too besides the book. Like maybe posters of all 3 movies some post cards etc like they are doing for The Mask

$70 doesn't seem "cheap" to me.

The older scan that they were using for the Fathom re-release screening did not look too bad, but it seemed a little dark to me. If you ask me, I think the blu ray looks better.

What has the overall consensus been about that older scan that they used for the recent theatrical re-release?

I think it's safe to say that the new 4K transfer from Arrow will be a noticeable improvement.

Newly releasing 4K at $23 per movie, from a boutique, in a fancy box... and discount codes getting it even lower. Regardless of how the price adjusts over time, that's a "cheap" price today.
