It looks like a clever game, but I'm seeing a lot of hype for this platformer. Is it based on an existing property? Why all of the fuss? What makes this game so special? Is it a sequel to an already great game? I'm out of the loop on why Gamescon said this was a hugely anticipated video game.

Sequel to Hollow Knight, a pretty fun indie game crowdfunded in 2014, released in 2017. Silksong was an expansion announced 6 years ago, fans have been looking forward to it for a while.

That’s a good thing actually, release the physical after the inevitable updates and dlcs

The physical will probably be released by Fangamer like the first one

Hollow Knight Silksong Backer Surveys were sent out earlier today if you were one of the few original Kickstarters. Code options are PC or Switch (original KS was for PC or Wii U). Apparently the Switch option is for both Switch 1 & 2 versions.
