That La Notte cover - get rid of the blue couple and it'd be excellent.

Too bad Fantomas Returns is Region B only…I would’ve been interested for sure.

Looks like a decent month, some good variety there.

Definitely in for Shogun’s Samurai, only got the French Fantomas Blu-rays a few months ago, so probably won’t get that set, but it looks a good ‘un.

I don’t think I’ve bought any Eureka release in the past year, so it’s nice to see a month where I’ll get 3 out of 4!

That's kind of funny. I've placed 7 orders this year and this month there isn't anything I'm interested in. I would have picked up Shogun's Samurai if I didn't already have a blu-ray release.

I’ve bought at least one title every month this year, sometimes two, sometimes more than that. Eureka have been releasing consistently excellent stuff this year.

Why don't you get the Kino set, if you're region A?

I’ve also got the Blu-ray of Jo and the 4K of The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob on preorder.

Maybe Eureka or another label might look into releasing some of his other films. Trouble is they’d all be blind buys for 99% of the audience here.
This is fascinating; in Greece, Louis de Funes was massive, especially among older generations. His films were a staple on TV and summer open-air cinemas for decades, and for many of us, they’re deeply nostalgic. Just found this silly article referring to him as "Thanassis Vengos of France"
[Show spoiler](Vengos is our most iconic comedian, you might have caught him opposite Keitel in Anglopoulos' Ulysses' gaze; he's also the barman in Radiance's upcoming The ogre of Athens, one of his first appearances) https://www.cnn.gr/style/politismos/...os-tis-gallias
.

Hopefully Eureka releases more of de Funes' work in the UK, he deserves to be discovered by a wider audience!

for those who would not have seen the Fantomas movies, they are way more "serious" / way lighter on comedy than the standard De Funes movies + he is less "present" (less important) than in his starring movies

In for the Fantomas trilogy and Shogun’s Samurai. Though I’m confused that there is no US release this month.

Well I didn’t mean to say they haven’t released anything good for a year! I nearly bought the Mabuse set, the High Noon 4K, etc, but often opted out because money was limited and I favored other releases or decided against upgrading X title from Blu-ray to 4K.

My post was absolutely NOT a slight against Eureka, which I’ve loved since the DVD era.

I wished for something I can easily skip, and instead got 4 must-haves. Damn me #feelingblessed. I was thinking of skipping the Antonioni at least, in the hopes that there could be a boxed set, at least of the trilogy, but maybe there won't be and that's one of my favourite movies.

Eureka just got back to me to let me know it's now been fixed. They disabled the auto-dub setting hours ago, but couldn't figure out how to retroactively fix the existing trailers until now.

Hi Michael,

We fixed it, so they are now all correct!
Many thanks,

I was not implying that in the least. I just thought it was funny as I had ordered something 7 out of 8 months and this was another month where I wasn't ordering anything.

I’ll definitely get La Notte. Fantomas trilogy I’ll not upgrade. I got the dirt cheap German release but the picture quality is crap on all three. I watched the Louis de Funès films all the time as a kid, but I don’t watch them much anymore today. So it would just be nostalgia for the shelf.
