From the Feeding Frenzy box, Monster Shark is lots of fun and easily the most well-known, but Night of the Sharks (shot in the Dominican Republic) is a beach-bum shark/crime thriller that was a nice end-of-summer vibe, and the would-have-been-lost-if-not-for-Severin The Shark Hunter is a beach-bum/shark/sunken treasure thriller with an amazing soundtrack and beautiful locations (Cozumel) that I absolutely loved. Thank you Severin for rescuing this film!

Interesting. The SAME Jeffrey told me that there was no update on replacement discs coming in. Maybe it's just the new boxes going out?

"Hello,

There has been no update, but we're hopeful they'll be coming soon!

Yeah, the email I got was also less than 24 hours ago. This is really weird and frustrating. But I know that orbit DVD has closed their pre-order and that’s always a sign that it will be shipping soon from them and other companies, so I’m sure they have the fixed copies. It would be so bizarre if they were selling copies with faulty discs.

But come on Jeffrey, get your story straight, buddy!

I'm pretty annoyed at this point and sent them another e-mail. You would think they would ship out the corrected discs to those who ALREADY have a defective copy first because they were given a messed up product to begin with. A bit frustrating.

Agreed. People who had already ordered should get their replacement discs first before anybody else.

Well, maybe for new orders sure but not for people like me whose order was held back from being shipped when the defect was found in mid-ship. At least you could watch the other movies. They are probably just getting these out to people who had to wait.

Perhaps Jeffrey of Severin is the new Kevin of VS on the block. Even my mama doesn't like them, and she likes everyone.

Shout out to Jeffrey and Kevin...

Carry on.
Strange, I reached out to Jeffrey last night and he could not have been more friendly and helpful. He even allowed me to add to the existing order even though the window has closed for this. As for the shipment, he confirmed they are still on schedule. Unfortunately no info on when mine will ship though.

How you talk to them matters, I think some people aren't very good at it. Just sayin.

I rather have Bell from hell in a jam-packed seperate UHD release than 2 movies on a bluray.

He seemed kinda like a jerk to me, but it could have been my interpretation of reading words on a page without any way to interpret tone or inflections in speech. Or maybe I was more irked than I realized and read into his email more than was intended. He basically told me the same thing with regard to being on schedule and fired off something about filling 20k+ orders.

I feel for them, but at the same time...damn.

Also annoyed that it is taking this long, but on a positive note, there are only 3 weeks till the end of the deadline. The worst of the wait is over.

Hoping it turns up with my VS order. Would be a total of 87 films and a book. Will take quite some time putting them away in the collection, but a fun night/day.

Brother, I have a love/hate relationship with package reveal and the inevitable finding a space on the shelf for hauls like that. I have expanded shelf after shelf into multiple rooms in the house to the point where I'm considering an expansion of the house itself to accommodate the arrival of new releases.

Yet, there's nothing quite like staying up halfway through the night finding the perfect place for the perfect choices we made in buying new titles for our collection once they finally arrive! It's like Christmas Morning with the unwrapping of what we bought for ourselves months ago.

Could not have put it better myself. You know you have an addiction when all is unboxed and put nicely away into the collection, you then feel disappointed it is over and a little empty inside. You want more!
