No. There are a lot of unreleased 3D movies but none have yet been confirmed for release.

Yes, I known that. But I remember something like 7 or 8 movies in the pipeline or something. 6 were already released after that. That's why I asked if there still more to be released.

- Minecraft Movie
- Harry Potter (1) & more?!
- Grand Prix of Europe (It's only coming out flat at the end of the year. A real shame. Happy Family 2 got a disc playable in 2D and 3D...)
These are the ones I want from WB:
  • Phantom of the Rue Morgue (1954)
  • The Charge at Feather River (1953)
  • The French Line (1953)
  • Arena (1953)
  • Louisiana Territory (1953)
  • The Moonlighter (1953)
  • Second Chance (1953)
  • Dangerous Mission (1954)
  • The Bounty Hunter (1954)

I am pretty sure that 3DFA (3D Film Archive) is a much more likely place for those vintage movies to be released from.

I think that the Turbine releases are more focused on newer movies.

Absolutely agreed on the 3-DFA putting out these vintage titles vs Turbine — I meant that those are the WB titles I want to see on 3-D Blu. Sorry, it was a WB followup statement, not a Turbine followup statement.

At this point, i wouldn't be surprised if they postponed the interview on purpose to give us more information. Since we didn't get any news from Turbine this week, the earliest release for the next batch is now the 9th of October.
I am curious if we get Wicked in 3D before the sequel arrives in mid/ late October.

Perhaps Turbine should branch out to bring out 3D classic films? Maybe they could bring out the 3D version of Hondo? Is Hondo available in Anaglyph 3D? That would be preferable than having no 3D version of it at this time.

There is a circulating tape recording of a color anaglyph presentation of Hondo that was broadcast in the 1980s. The quality is so poor that the 3D doesn't work at all. Don't bother with it. Too bad no one was able to preserve Sensio's SBS 3D version ten years ago. I'm confident that the proper restored 4K 3D version will be made available eventually, but it may take years and years of waiting. As far as I know, Paramount cannot sub-license the film to any other distributors because they themselves are licensing it from Batjac Productions who own the copyright. I don't expect Turbine to be able to acquire any vintage 3D works not already available. There's an infinitely increasing backlog of current 3D movies that will never get Blu-ray 3D releases outside of Turbine's efforts though.

Only good thing that would come out of a merger. I really wanna see the work Pete did in converting old World War 1 footage to 3D...

Apparently Netflix is going to bid on Warner. They get WB and no 3D is seeing the light of day on BD

I’m so glad that we got as many as we did from Warner and Sony. I shudder to think of a world without House of Wax, The Mad Magician, or Man in the Dark on 3-D Blu-ray.

Mainly hope to be honest.

And if the last State in Germany finished their vacations last week, that would make our current week the first possible date after the summer break. So it really wasn't based on anything specific, outside of hope.

But I am pretty sure that i am not the only one dying to find out wether or not the (possible) negotiations with WB/ Sony/ Disney were successful or not.
I've never been so curious about anything else in regards to 3D Blu Rays until i found out that Turbine tries to revive them.

My enthusiasm is getting the better of me in the last couple of days...😅

Even if it didn't work out, i am pretty sure Turbine did everything they could to make it happen. And i am so happy Turbine does all of this for us 3D/Theater enthusiasts.
