Yes the PSN video was edited, but the actual playable demo had all the gore intact. I really don't see them releasing an edited demo.

I don't either. I expect the demo will be the same. My concern is whether the demo does/will represent, accurately, the final game.

It is smart. I'm sure they want to get the GoW Collection into lots of hands and then gague the reaction to test the viability of bringing other 'classic' collections to the market. Crossing my fingers for Team Ico and Kojima Productions collections going forward...

I'm so shocked to see so many people who have not played god of war (ps2)before.
the games were one of the best games ever on ps2 both graphically and history.
Love the move by Sony. But I'm Warning you all, don't expect a HD GOW3 like game...this IS a ps2 game ported to hd...
worth every penny.

First of all you're not having the last laugh simply because things have changed and they're NOW going to be putting it in here.

You said the gamestop person or whoever said that the demo was coming with the game. In fact at the time, NOBODY was saying that except stupid people who don't know what they're talking about.

The official word out there (which admittedly isn't always the correct word) was that the demo would NOT be on the GOW Collection. They specifically addressed it saying it might not be ready in time and they wanted to make sure it was perfect.

You know, here's a comparable scenario.

PS3's don't have BC anymore (at least the newer models). There are people who swear up and down that the E3 was going to introduce BC. It didn't happen.

Everytime there's a new super secret double probation edition of the firmware coming out, they jump up and down about BC is coming BC is coming.

It doesn't.

And people joke them about it or point out how stupid they are.

Imagine two years down the road when they decide "you know what? We're gonna bring BC back to the PS3"

Imagine those same people who were predicting it was gonna come @ E3 and all them, suddenly thumping their chests and bragging about "how good it feels to be right"

Same thing here. We get the demo. Be happy with that instead of acting like a jackass.

I agree. I'm surprised they haven't released a trailer or promo video or SOMETHING.

60fps and 720p + 2xAA. That should still be awesome imo
