I was thinking that too. I just wonder if it would stay at the $799 price. If it goes back up to $899, I may be looking into the Panny because of the great brightness it possess, as 2000 lumens is quite nice indeed. However, I have almost 100% control of the lighting in the room, so the brightness feature is nice, but not necessary for me. I even found an Elite 92" pulldown screen that fits perfectly in my front sounstage for just $111, and it has the right gain and white screen that matches perfectly with the Sanyo. I could easily get everything I need for under $1000.....which is mind boggling when you think of it.....
