Why is he bleeding from a thrown saw? Even if it's at superspeed, Superman doesn't bleed from something like that. It's hogwash I tell ya!

AWESOME premiere! Really looking forward to Metallo and Zod, and I love the conversations between Clark/Chloe and Lois/Oliver....the subplot with this female assassin was the weakest part of the episode imo and I'm hoping her role is strengthened in future episodes because it didn't really do anything for me

Can't wait for next week!

Loved the premiere, infinitely better than season 8's finale. It was also better than season 8's premiere.

The scene between Chloe and Clark in the barn was easily the best part of the show for me, especially his part "I'm not a god! The last time I tried to change fate my own father died!" I thought Welling did really good with that scene.

The assassin chick, yea, I'll wait and see where it goes from here. Seems intriguing but, as far as this episode goes, it just didn't seem to jive with the rest of the show for me.

I think this was the largest role Jor-El has had in any episode, no? I don't recall him ever having that many lines. I liked it, I've always liked the Clark/Jor-El scenes.

I thought Blue was really good as Zod, hopefully he is just as good moving forward and gets even better, and his character has a good arch for the season. It will probably be a while before him and Clark actually meet.

So...who was the voice of the orb last season if it wasn't Zod?

Also, the woman mentioned the last thing they remember is their blood being taken or something during the battle of Kandor, so I guess that is why they are there? Some sort of DNA sample to revive the people of the city in the event of Krypton being destroyed?

Being that tomorrow is the premiere, I don't recall our protocol for spoiler tag usage of the episode that just aired. Was it use them for one day after the episode airs?

me being sarcastic. I ended up watching cause I couldn't resist.

oh guys excceuse the speeling since I am using me phone to post.

I thought it was great still was confused to what happened to lois going into the future. that didn't make sense for me.

all i remember was a fight with tess and lois was involved.
