Where to put the center channel speaker? - Blu-ray Forum

I have a wall mounted 50" Plasma. Do you think it would be better for me to mount the center speaker above or below the TV?

I would go with below because is closer to ear level therefore you get better sound

You want to have the center as close to ear level as possible. So, if your plasma is mounted high enough on the wall, I'd probably put it below it.

Make sure it is pointed in the direction of your ears when seated. My theater room is below the screen and pointed up wheras my TV has it above and pointed down.
