I'm getting better at sniping. I've seen some people do extremely well at sniping quickly. If the target is stopped, that's easy enough.

It's the moving targets I'm working on. I usually try to predict where they are going and wait. People running in a straight line are my favorite.

Is it me or is there far too much whining in this game? I'm getting tired of listening to chat. It seems there's always 1-2 people who do nothing but ***** and tie up the whole mic.

And if you tell them to quiet down and keep the mic free for "ops chat," they get going even more.

I'm using my earpiece just to filter chat now. I'll just set it down on the couch, so I don't have to hear anything. Sad.

I try to play an hour or two here and there on weekdays and a lot more on Fri/Sat/Sun.

Warhawk is the only thing I play on the PS3. I tried Heavenly Sword, but that only lasted for about 5 minutes. Warhawk is too much fun.

I get in as much game time as i possibly can. I was on for quite a while sunday when i added you and ashliz to my friends list. Not sure who else is in BLu-Clan, so lemme know and i'll add ya too. Got alot of dogfight practice in yesterday, I was pleased. Other than that, my girl rules the ps3 (she bought it) so getting on can be a bit hard sometimes. But I make due and get in as much time as possible. Right now Im just trying to get her to practice as much as possible so her life expectancy isnt only limited to a few seconds and so she can actually enjoy the game. Once she gets better thou, itll be a different story. For now, it'd prolly be better to keep me off the roster as Im not on as much as Id like.

Hovering Warhawks make for much easier targets so look for those rather than trying to take one down in flight. Also, shoot the ones that are parked twice with the sniper rifle and wait for someone to get in, easy pickins

Can anyone tell me how I get passed Airman 1st class? I have almost 3000 points and should technically be 2 ranks higher. I think the only thing holding me back is "Warhawk Recruiting" Badge. So how do I solve this?

my ID is goliath51 incase you wanted to add me to the clan. I play regularly, but maybe not as often as others on here. I am 840-380 roughly in K-D.

Is that seriously it? It would explain why ive never gotten it, I almost never pilot warhawks, I do all my fighting on the ground. Ill try that out tonight though, and go up the 2 ranks. Thanks

Theres a few that I will be specifically aiming for first before really trying to move ahead in rank, well more like until they fix mine. I got nabbed by the Sewrgant Major bug even thou I have somewhere between 500 and 660 pts.

I saw your name in a game I was playing this weekend - however, I didn't see "you". You must have been hiding in the hills sniping.

Once in a while my kid joins in and plays. I usually end up having to lower the "voice" sound so we can't hear people. I've heard a few fights that have gotten quite nasty.

I almost always try to join a room another member is in - or join the Bluray room if Dadds has it up and running. It seems everytime I enter the room, my mic isn't working and I can't say howdy to everyone.

Anyway the game is much more fun when everyone is being civil, while killing each other.

I wasn't aware this was a common problem? I got the same thing... and got another promotion on top of that, despite only having around 1300 points.

I like it while I have it though. I like the customizations on the character and jets. I'd rather they not fix this bug.

The Warhawk Recruiter ribbon took me a bit of time as I do mostly ground work as well. But I got it finally. Yay me.

Yeah, i was reading bout it on the ps3 forums somewhere. apparently alot of people got hit by it. Sooner or later ill earn the actual merits for all of the promotions that lead up to it. Im definitely very partial to the hotrod flames scheme.

I got the WR ribbon without even realizing i fulfilled its requirements. I like when things like that happen "oh snap, i got that too! sweet"

How does Clan play work? Do you have to play in games with the Clan or does your normal regular play just contribute to Clan stats or what?

I've yet to try out this style of play in Warhawk. Besides this forum I don't know anyone who owns the game anyhow.

It depends. If I'm on a good CTF team, I'll get very aggressive and charge the flag over and over (occasionally snipping or spot defending for fun).

If I'm on a 16-player team with 9+ sitting at the flag, I join in and hope next map is better. One thing I learned is that if you don't have at least 5-6 guys dedicated to going after the flag (properly), it's a complete waste of time.

I might not be a top player (far from it), but I do know the basics to CTF and when I see a team that's "crap," I usually experiment with some stuff and leave.

The new 30 min 3 cap servers rock. It also changes the strategy a little.

My problem is I'm playing to win. So many others just want their points. I've had the most fun in this game (on CTF) when I've died over and over trying to get the flag or when there's like 6+ guys on each team at the flag just going nuts.

Some of the most fun games have had the fewest points.

Basically, it's like a very large "buddy list". I select "clans" and can see if anyone from the clan is playing in a room. I can join their room (if there is an opening) and I can check their stats (if I really wanted too).

I tend to try and join rooms with other clan members if I can, which means:

If we are on the same team - I have an instant buddy.
If we are on opposite teams - I have an instant mortal enemy.

Since the Clan support function is broke at the moment (only 28 can be added out of 64) you can simply "add" some folks to your "friend" list and then go to the "buddy" page, under Community in Warhawk. It is basically the same thing except all members in the Clan have the word BLU in front of their name.

My name says (BLU) CYMBOL - that lets other players know what Clan I am in, and who is owning them!

Right now Dadds is waiting for Warhawk to fix their game so he can add more Clan members.
