Some American's have higher priorities like kids, bills, football scores, politics, the list goes on and on. A high def format might be on the bottom of THEIR lists. That is why they don't know anything or are confused. If they want the information they will eventually get it. I still remember people being confused when DVD first came out, and wonder how to rewind the disc. Give them a break. America is a free market, capitalist country, but the population is specialized to know a lot about a few things.
