Could we maybe have like an "Official Review Feedback" thread or something to cut down on all the review trashing threads that seems to always pop up?

Yes, I know that is what the User Reviews are for, but some members still feel the need to start threads about it all the time.

It doesn't matter how many different forums or threads there are, people will always post things like that.

What would make more sense is if the review author were to create a thread and a link at the end of the review that says "discuss this disc & this review here". That way there would be a one stop shop for positive and negative feedback for each review, and a singular place to start to discuss a film or a disc.

The reason user reviews exist is so there IS a place for people to post their own thoughts of a movie and potentially provide a different opinion than that of the professional review. I'm not sure how well an actual discussion thread for each review would work, because as we've seen many times on here, some people just aren't capable of expressing their negative opinions in a constructive or otherwise mature manner

yeah.... User Reviews are sufficient for voicing your opinion.... we don't want to open the floodgates and have an "Attack The Reviewers" section here..... there is no need for that.

Yea, I guess I had too much faith that people would use it for constructive criticism or disagreements, but simply a "-review title- by -reviewer- SUCKS!1!!!111! THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVAR!!21448361!". There undoubtedly would be some that used it maturely but for every one of those there would be 10 of the other kind.

With the people you have here, you really don't need an editor. Everyone is very professional, and knowledgeable. Pro-B is the best reviewer of foreign films in the business. Ken B. does a great job with the WB releases. M. Liebman is an expert reviewer and handles the popular releases. Dustin Summer, Jeffrey K., and Casey B. are also doing a good job. One more thing Iceman...how about having Deci do some reviews of Spanish releases? He did a great job with The Orphanage, and will be a fantastic addition to the review team.

Definitely a good reviewer, as are all of our reviewers!

The Casino Royale review Deci wrote pushed me over the edge to make my first ever blind buy, and is saying a lot for me, because I've only ever made two blind buys. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
