In The Netherlands this movie comes comes out as an Freerecordshop Exclusive Steelbook, I don't know if the coverart is going to be the same. Freerecordshop is a company with a lot of stores in The Netherlands

Ah I found the coupon, thanks. I must be blind. Canceled all outstanding steelbook orders and did the massive Star Trek, Terminator, IB, HP order with $10 off coupon. Thanks guys.

Does futureshop ship separately if the items you order are from different dates or do they hold them all until they are all released?

I don't know from experience but they have an option that say "Ship as items become available." So I'm hoping they will ship these separately

What I meant, was that I could easily buy this steelbook, but since they don't ship to america, makes it pointless to me.

They will ship separately. Which ever item comes available will ship first. No extra shipping charge even though its shipped twice.

Anyone know if FS is planning on releasing steelbooks for the previous ones? I mean isn't it kinda silly for a collector to purchase the FS release if it won't match the 5 previous German ones?

I know it's a matter of preference, but would I be better off just collecting the German ones (even though I'm Canadian and have access to this FS release)?

You should search the Future Shop forums for the direct quote, but Ian said something about potentially creating a new edition for all of the movies (when they are all out), but I think he just about ruled out going back and re-issuing the older Harry Potter films in steel.

I'm a little foggy on this, so I might not have all the details right, but my impression from what I read was - no - you probably should collect the German ones if you want a complete set.

Yea but getting 4k of each for the HP titles and actually selling them may prove to be an obstacle for FS. I for one would not purchase them because the german counterparts are so much cheaper from Amazon. Thats why i feel maybe a Jumbo is in order or none at all

Makes you wonder about demand / supply too - with the Amazon.de ones being so cheap, you have to wonder why they aren't sold out yet.

Sounds like Future Shop might be sitting on these for a while.

Thanks for the info! I'll have a look later to see if I can find it.

I think you've told me everything I need to know and I might just order the steelbooks from Amazon.de then?? but I don't see the pre-order for the new one .. I only see the previous 5.
