I just thought you boil them to remove any inherent virus that the HD DVD standard may contain

figures you'd have to do something stupid like that to get em to work
like.. would you boil off the disc-art too? i dunno it just doesnt seem right... how do you dry it afterwards? stupid

there is no disc art right ?
both side also contain the content.

There's actually a thread about HD-DVD boiling over at AVS if you want to check it out. I just think it's funny nobody said something to the point of, "Wow, this is pretty fuc*ing ridiculous that I have to do this, maybe there's something not quite right." It really amazes me how anyone can be a diehard HD-DVD supporter with the facts that are out there. I liken it to buying a car with 55 horsepower that gets 8 mpg. There's no positive trade off.
