No picture yet, but I assume it is the White cover. **Original Post by Travis in the Asia Subforum. Last edited by jw; 11-02-2009 at 12:16 AM. |

the steel itself is the exactly same one as czech steel ... but the slipcover rocks. I bought the UK Steel like two days ago, so I´d have both artworks and I cant say I´d buy this one just because of the slipcover (in the end, on the shelve will be standing only steel in slip or without it, not both), so having two is still best option for me.
but the idea is definitely great ![]() |

Combining the best of both worlds has helped me make a decision: this is definitely the one for me. Thanks for the scans, ych1138!
And for those wondering where it can be acquired, it's available on JSDVD. This is my first ever order from them, so just to make things clear for other first-timers: when you click "confirm order" you are redirected to a Taiwanese bank transfer service, where you must enter your phone number at the bottom field (despite having entered it already during registration) and also make sure to select the LEFT option at the bottom of both screens. The other one probably only works for verified Taiwanese members. Upon completing the process, wait to be redirected back to the JSDVD website. You will then receive further status updates via e-mail. It is only when your order is ready for shipping that you will be given the total amount. EDIT: I just received the e-mail notifying me of my order being updated to "Shipping fee charging". What happens is they ask you to add the shipping to your cart as though you were purchasing another item, and only once you complete this second checkout do they actually ship your item. Rather tedious, but what can you do... Total sum for Gladiator (international shipping) is either NT$1570 or NT$1680, depending on whether you select plain airmail (uninsured) or EMS. I went with the former despite the risk, in order to avoid the local fee. Glad I was wrong in assuming they didn't let you choose the shipping method. I've held off getting this steelbook cause there were so many to choose from. I almost was gonna get a Thailand one, but this Taiwan version is so much nicer than all of the released so far. Definitely the one i am going to buy.
