There were a lot of Dragon Age threads out there and didn't know which one was the official one so I'm using this one

Apparently DA: CE is already sold out at Amazon

Still deciding if I want to get it for the PC or the PS3. I'm leaning toward the PC for all the mods and such, but the appeal of lying on the couch while playing on a 46 inch screen makes me think PS3. Oh the dilemma.

I also had a problem with NWN2 and never finished the original campaign. Loved the 1st one though!

It was supposed to ship later in November for PS3, but Bioware had a "surprise announcement" that it would ship day and date with 360/PC.

Just saw a commercial for this, and there was no Playstation logo on the commercial at all. What's up with that?

I'm sure Microsoft loves it, but why the hell would BioWare neglect to even tell potential customers about a product available?

MS paid for the ad. That's why. Same reason why the MW2 ads only have the 360 logo.

I suppose, but don't get this. If I'm BioWare (or Activision), you have to pay me for every single copy I won't sell due to lack of advertising to make this a good deal. How do you estimate this number? Estimating high is safer for the company, but if you are estimating high, why would Microsoft pay it?

I just don't get advertising logic.

They aren't promoting multi-console titles though. The Dragon Age commercial doesn't even show the full-screen logo, just a tiny little 360 logo in the corner. If they had paid for the full screen 360 logo with the sound effect, or mentioned the 360 at all in words, that would be at least a little understandable.

As is, it's bizarre.

I pre-ordered the collector's edition from amazon, but they are still saying that they don't expect to get it until the 17th. I may go pick up another collector's edition somewhere else and then return the one I get from amazon to the store, so I can still get my pre-order bonuses.

The collector's edition isn't even up for pre-order anymore. I wanted to pre-order it when I got the $20 credit from MW2. I hope they add it on the 17th for order.
