From that information you provided, it is impossible to tell the frequency response of the speakers. If you buy an SPL meter and download some free test tones, you may be able to measure the effective frequency response of your speakers in your room.

If you set the crossover in your new receiver to 80Hz, you should be ok. In most cases, the relevant frequency is the low end frequency of you speakers because you do not have a subwoofer and you are redirecting all the bass sound to the RCA speakers in the front.

There are some reasonably good subwoofers for less than $150 and you may be able to find one below $100.
