And I say again the Blood Dragon armor does come with the ps3, some people had passed around that it didn't well it does its printed on the opposite side of the Stone Prisoner Card.

While it gives conflicting stories on how to download it use the redeam code function built into the game.

Remember to download all the dlc after you activate it.

Anyway cheers.
also as a preorder bonus I got 2 codes from Amazon for Memory band and Lions Paw boots, sweet!

Anyone can do it. You need the "Stealing" line of talents to pick locks.

Having said that, I just waited till I had a rogue and added her to my party.

Turns out I was quite wrong about this, picking locks is a different skills which only rogues have. Sorry for the misinfo.

Epic fail, EA. The one night this week I actually had time to play DA:O and I can't redeem my blood dragon armor code because of some error on their web site.

You don't have to go to the website I did both codes thru the game without the website. This game rocks man.

Sweet. Figured that out shortly after posting, but thank you.

Sent Bioware/EA an email asking them to fix my account, just in case.

Of course, right as I get settled in to play, my wife gets home from her business trip and expects me to spend time with her. /sigh I can't catch a break!

Yeah but if you go back to my post I stated to ignore the instructions on the card

'While it gives conflicting stories on how to download it use the redeam code function built into the game."

Its okay.. im use to being ignored.

That is probably a safe bet.

----------

Okay I think I can offer I guess a limited review as promised.

I have a new name for this game... Neverwinter Nights 3: Dragon Ages

I have to say, everything we have come to expect from the Neverwinter Series has not only been perfected but taken to the new level, almost every line spoken is physically spoken to the most insignificant character to the most important characters.

Even your party members babbling, or poking fun at each other, some in cases do not like each other, to the point that they belittle each other in a friendly manner.. or not so friendly matter..

You can also engage your party members and start to ask them questions about themselves but note that talking to them will make them either think higher or lesser of you, as they will also ask you questions which will shape what they think of you.

Some of your decisions will also cause your party to react different based on there own morals.

You can have three members of your party join you on your adventure, note you are not that limited in party size just how many you bring with you. As remaining members will await at camp.

Additions to this over past games is the installment of a world map to travel between cities and locations, note if you run into enemy patrols while moving to the desired location you will be pulled into a battle in that area and will have to fight your way pass the enemies.

It is possible to coerce people to do things they would rather not, there are two types of coercion.. Intimidation and outwit, one is governed by strength and the other is governed by your characters cunning.

While Coercion is a skill on the skill tree under pursade you have to read the responses to dertmine if outwit or intimidate is being used as the game will roll the specific stat and see if you can convince them...

Your party is pretty smart you can define tatics mages tend to stand back while warriors dash foward, sometimes mages can get jumped but you have skills that stun anything that trys to bum rush you.

One thing I must say that amazed me was how far I could launch attacks, as a mage my staff shoots out projectiles at no cost to me, quite a distance most of your magic has good range especially fireball that requires a little more discipline then you would think.

Fireball is a long range spellt that flings long range and explodes for splash damage. Which will hurt your party members so you usualy aim it front of charging enemies...

Also there is inclusion of passive spells such as enchantments and shields.

When you cast say the spell that sets everyones weapons on fire your mana will not restore past a specific point because its being used to keep the spell active, casting arcane shield is the same it reduces your mana pool by x amount until its deactived.

This saves you from having to constantly cast enchantments over and over and over, but does reduce your access to your permant mana pool.

For whatever reason Bioware decided we only needed 6 macro slots, all skills and spells are accessible through the wheel which was used in the original neverwinter nights for pc. But the 6 macro slots may force you to open the wheel more then you might have done so in neverwinter nights.

Oh a friendly note if you need to drink a potion open up the wheel and go to potions you cannot drink potions or use injury kits from the inventory.

Final Words, this game is very addictive.. what seems like minutes is in fact hours of your real life.. but you find a very welcome enjoyable experience.

Pros: Great Character Models, Party members feel real, Amazing Story, Great animations, Real consequences for your actions good or bad...

Cons: 6 Macros, sometimes party members can seem unreasonable, sometimes what you want to say is not a choice.

These are definitely my biggest complaints. On occasion you get to a set of conversation choices which are all wtf-inducing.

How do you go from "I'd like to learn more about you" to a set of options which amount to "I hate you", "I'll kill you", or "get the hell out of my party"...with no other options as to what to say.

Sometimes they seem to not understand the idea of the greater good.. I mean like in that city with the
[Show spoiler] Zombies
I lost some respect with half my party for agreeing to help and some of the concessions I had to do to help.

The way I saw it we still needed to talk to
[Show spoiler] Url
and if not taken care of the
[Show spoiler] zombies
would have just become a bigger problem in the future.

Of course looking at there backgrounds it seems morality and the greater good really do not fit in there way of thinking or how they have operated in the past so its in character but really I wanted a option to explain the situation as in the bigger picture of things.

can you turn the blood off? I'm all for gore, but from all the video reviews I've seen, it looks ridiculous (in a bad way) in the cutscenes.
