United Kingdom OPTARC BD ROM BC-5500S won't play Blue-Ray Discs on ACER 6930

I have just purchased a ACER 6930 with a Optarc BD ROM BC-5500S installed. It will play regular CDs and DVD's but when it comes to Blue-Ray DVD's it just does not want to know. I have tried with Media Centre and get a message 'No program is installed to play Blu-Ray disc in Media Centre'. When I try Acer Arcade Delux it shows the drive, then when I select it I see three folders AACS, BDMV, & Certificate, if i select any of them I get a message no video found, I Ithen use explorer to access the drive I see several folders but cannot get anything to execute as I always recieve a window saying windows cannot open this file. Can anyone suggest a course of action to get the drive be fully operational??

Some computers that come with BD-ROM drives do not include the software to play pre-recorded Blu-ray movie discs. If you do not have any Blu-ray player software installed on your computer then you will need to purchase a program like Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra Version 9.0 or TotalMedia Theater to play pre-recorded Blu-ray discs.
