"When" a film comes out is almost as important as the film itself. I dont think just because films can be made to look more "modern" is a reason to change them.

The effects look great to me. I'd say they were some of the best ever done in the history of film, along with Star Wars, Blade Runner, Alien, The Thing (1982) and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

How would you make it more "realistic"? Not with CGI, I hope. 'Cause CGI looks cold and lifeless to me.
