Die Hard may be among the greatest action movies of all time, but to be an A-list actor your films need to consistently be smash hits. Willis has had one live action $100 million film since 2000, and that was Live Free or Die Hard. Willis movies have consistently bombed this decade.

Forbes makes every year the "Power List" of Hollywood.

I quote:
Quote:
The data was based not just on box office success but also on a star's ability to attract financing and guarantee cinema distribution for a project, and whether or not their presence "significantly drives box office performance".
1 Will Smith
2 Johnny Depp
3 Leonardo DiCaprio
4 Angelina Jolie
5 Brad Pitt
6 Tom Hanks
7 George Clooney
8 Denzel Washington
9 Matt Damon
10 Jack Nicholson
11 Julia Roberts
12 Adam Sandler
13 Tom Cruise
14 Russell Crowe
15 Will Ferrell
16 Meryl Streep
17 Robert De Niro
18 Ben Stiller
19 Jim Carrey
20 Clint Eastwood

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...ower-list.html

Only 2 women in the top 20.

If you base your list on the "Ulmer Scale" which is based on "bankability", here's the top 10:

Will Smith 96
Johnny Dep 95
Brad Pitt 88
Tom Hanks 87
George Clooney 86
Will Ferrell 85
Reese Witherspoon 85
Nicholas Cage 84
Leonardo DiCaprio 81
Russell Crowe 81

Top 10 females:

1. Reese Witherspoon 85
2. Julia Roberts 80
3. Kate Winslet 80
4. Cameron Diaz 76
5. Keira Knightley 76
6. Meryl Streep 75
7. Scarlett Johanssen 73
8. Nicole Kidman 73
9. Angelina Jolie 71
10. Penelope Cruz 69

And finally the ones who are growing the fastest between 07 and 09:

1. Shia LaBeouf 20 63 +43
2. Daniel Craig 39 75 +36
3. Rowan Atkinson 28 60 +32
4. Cate Blanchett 42 66 +24
5. Helen Mirren 33 55 +20

Compared to the ones "falling" the fastest:

1. Mel Gibson 86 60 -26
2. Jim Carrey 94 73 -21
3. Tom Cruise 98 80 -18
4. Keanu Reeves 86 68 -18
5. Robin Williams 79 61 -18

I like that he doesn't like to talk about his personal life, it's called personal for a reason. Everyone doesn't need to know every little detail about your life like some celebrities seem to think.
And then there was this one time......in Band Camp.....

The only reason he fell off years ago was his personal problems. Now that he has squared himself away, he is a significant draw again. The guy can act.
