Thumbs up Kontrol Freak product controller attachment

I have always been looking for some kind of controller or adapter so that my playing could be closer to using a mouse and keyboard. Well, I think I have found my perfect solution and it didn't cost that much. (20$ shipped)

Link

Basically these are joysticks "clips" that you snapped onto your existing controller joystick. (Fits on both 360 and PS3) Snapping on them is really easy and removing them as well. You can drastically see the difference just by moving them around freely. It is incredibly sensitive and very, very smooth. The thumbsticks are higher up so it's a bit awkward at first but after about 30 minutes it fit back into my hand comfortably and I was loving it.

I fired up Uncharted 2 and raised my sensitivity to the max. I was able to look around a lot more than I used to in the past and it was very smooth. The cursor doesn't jump all over the place. I was also able to do 180 much faster now.

I fired up NHL 10 and I noticed that my accuracy was improved and I was also able to deke and move my player a lot more accurate than I was in the past and scoring more frequently.

I have only been using these for about 2 hours today but figured I would go ahead and let you guys know about it. I bought the bundle that comes with both FPS freak and Speed freak. I haven't tried the speed freak in a game but just by putting them off I could tell my turning would be a lot more smooth. I'll probably try them tomorrow on Dirt 2.

I wanted to add that I have no affiliation what so ever with this product. Something I saw and was interested in and decided to it share with my blu friends. My pictures below but the link has some good ones as well.

I've seen them and for the price it's not a bad idea.

I remember though that there used to be a controller attachment that would put a thumbstick over the directional pad so it wouldn't hurt your thumb using it. I miss that product. Last time I had one was for my PSX.

Controller attachment would have been a better tittle... I had no idea what to call it. Where were you Mike?!?

And ya, for 10 bucks, it's definitely worth it.

I kinda don't get it. How does plastic increase your acuracy? What does it feel like?

It feels like having another thumbstick but the rubber is better and 10 x smoother. It's much lighter to actually move the thumbstick. It's like one fluid motion wherever you go and you are much more precise. You don't have to "fight" the controller, it goes where you want it to go.
