tcp54s1 at sears for $990...you cant go wrong ( a little side note, the 54 is 54.1 inches while the 50 is 49.6 so you actually getting over 4 inches more screen)
i also notice you currently have a 46"..if size is a main reason your upgrading, my rule of thumb is to always go one size bigger than you think you want...i started with the 46...then went to a 50, and now i returned the 50 for the 54, all within a 5 month period...and im much much happier...this of course is my personal experience and opinion and not intended to offend the g10 owners
I'm curious where you're getting your information on the S1 vs. the G10 and the V10. The S1 should be able to achieve the SAME picture with calibration that the G10 can, and the V10 outside of a few more menu tweaks and the (admittedly nice) 96hz feature, is pretty much the same set- I'm not sure I'd go with "far superior".
