I was thinking along the same lines (BIOS verification), but what I've read about BD+ doesn't clearly state what it does to verify that the disc is playing on an "unhacked" player. Glad to hear my PS3 should be safe for future HDD upgrading.

agree with Xerious

I boosted my PS3 to 120Go and no problem with that
you just have to be careful with the HDD you choose

think it is a SATA 2"5 type

I have no prob's with my 250gig but I dont have those films yet but you should have no prob with anything cause of a bigger HDD, oh ya, I got 2 120gig HDD's for my other 2 PS3's 80$ for both!!! I got a close buddy in da bizzz

It has 3 hdmi inputs. I am very happy with the Phillips, I was kinda surprised cause I had heard bad things but I cannot complain. The Wii is pretty fun, they need to come out w/ more good games though

It's a little bit of code that runs a checksum mechanism... fancy schmancy, but since the HDD on the PS3 is not locked to the console and is freely interchangable, the likelyhood that this would interfere with playback is slim. just make sure you have the proper system software updates and you should be good to go. pickin' up my FF2 today
