Who Killed Flying Fox...and How

ok so iv been trying to kill him in heavenly sword for 4hrs now....and i keep gettin my butt kicked...i pass thought the first stage but the second,,,damn,,.one time reach as far as when fox did that agent smith thing,,,,and spawned about four of them....but,,,jeeze...how to break those jars..on the cage...HELP

I beat him but took me a lot of tries. I stopped trying to break the jars on the cage and just used the one in the middle which sucked, took me a couple tries until i was able to get the hang of deflecting and dodging the swords preventing me from taking damage.

I beat him the first time through...I have no idea what I did though. I believe I mostly just dodged his attacks and then used power hits against him.

I beat him on my first try. Stick with speed stance. He may block the first attack or two but usually gets hit by the rest. The clones do the same and die with one combo. Try not to get surrounded. I ran around the arena and waited until just one was close to me, try to take them on one at a time.

You need to get really good at deflecting his orange fiery shots back into him, this hurts him really bad.

try rolling around him using the right stick... and use speed attacks to stun him and then strong attacks to finish him off. save your jars until you really need them.

You can throw something at the jars or you can deflect his blade into one.

Ya i got lucky and beat him the first time.. only used one jar because i dont have energy to deflect an attack and steer it into another jar lol. eventually kai wakes up and i dont know if my game glitched but i just shot and it landed in his head lol. just block with timing, when he spawns like 20 versions of himself i used the long range attacks and just hit them all together

He can be tough. Power stance to deflect orange blades and avoid heavy damage. Try to deflect blue blades back to him (get some distance so you have more time in the aftertouch aim). I never could hit the other jars though.

Speed combo Fox before he attacks, then dodge quickly before he gets off his 'red' attacks. Go as far as you can on your health before breaking the single jar.

Range attacks work well to keep his duplicates off you a bit, but keep moving and speed attack them individually.

It's possible to hit all three jars, but it's very tricky.

The trick is countering his blade boomerang attacks. Speed stance + triangle to counter his blue boomerangs, Power stance + triangle to counter his orange boomerangs. Either one can be steered, though the orange ones do seem a shade slower and thus easier to steer (took me a few tries to hit each jar though - you need to do so to get all three Glyphs from that fight).

Thats how you are supposed to beat him. It is very easy once you figure it out.

haaaaaaaaaaa finally.....i f*&Ked him up..mmm u should see me ...then i got all happy etc and thought i was invinsible.......destroy the army...now fighting with bohan... wtf,,,how come power stance aint blockin..and i aint seein any life jars



PS..when the crow thing give him power....ohhh that was so so so so freaking..mmmm...cant describe it but...i love my ps3, it deserves a pot of gold

I've found two methods that work effectively against Bohan. The first is to stay in Speed stance and just tip-tap him to death (takes forever), but you have to watch out for his combo attacks and learn to swap into Power stance to block/counter those.

The second is to stay in Power stance and just hit once and roll away using the right analog stick. This seems to work a bit better and tends to be a bit more reliable and faster, but he does have a rather icky Speed/Power/Power combo that can sometimes hit you before you manage to roll away when doing this (can roll away from the last hit though).

When he backs away and tosses the energy blasts at you, stay still and deflect them back at him; just as with Flying Fox, Speed stance against the blue bolts, Power stance against the orange ones.

When he flies into the air, if you hear the raven sounds, switch to Speed stance and attack to stop them from hitting you. If he starts laughing, roll to the side to avoid his charge. If neither one happens and he pauses, he's going to throw energy bolts at you; do the same as above with, Speed counter the blue bolts, Power counter the orange ones.
