I use a 2.1 surround sound for my room. I think its perfect. I have a logitech set up which was rated the best on cnet, Klipsch also has a 2.1 that is decent.
I plug the cord into the headphone jack. my new tv doesnt allow me to adjust the volume by control anymore so i have it at a fixed volume which is annoying but it gets the job done.
