I remember i was a nintendo fan when PS1 came out. i was rooting for the N64 and booing the PS.

Thats didn't last, all those awsome games made me switch quick! remember the arcade perfect port of MK3? heh.

Ahhh, i still remember watching my cousin play ff7, good times.

Heres to PS4

The PSone is my favourite design (style) and has stood the test of time best I think. PSone and Dreamcast.

Odd I thought the PSX came out in 1996 but I guess I didn't take into consideration when it debuted in Japan.

ive owned all three of the home consoles, and have never been disappointed, not once, big thanks to sony for years of fantastic gaming!

i got my first playstation for a christmas gift many years ago, im pretty sure it was 96, but we have a tradition to open one gift on christmas eve, and my grandmother was forgetful and didnt remember what was in a few of the packages, and i opened a playstation game before i had the system! of course my dad thought it would be hysterical to tell me that they just got me the game and not the system, and then put the system in the basement that night, so when everything was opened on chrismas morning, i still didnt have the playstation, needless to say i was a very confused and kind of let down 12 year old, but then he sent me down to the basement to help bring up something for my mom, and it was sitting there right next to it, i dont think ill ever forget that christmas, or my first playstation, ahhhh memories...

I've had (and still have) every Euro Playstation product so far (and every PS Final Fantasy games ) Love me some Playstation.

Still think the N64 was one of the best consoles ever though, just because of this

Actually the NA launch was Sept of 1995. Almost a year after Japan. I knew alot of people who imported early. IIRC, 400.00-500.00 for a JP PSX. PSX import games like Ridge Racer were 90.00..

Wow 15yrs!!!

I remember renting the PS1 from Blockbuster all the time with Ace Combat and the awesome Demolition Derby!!!

The one and only game I've purchased from the PS Store since I've had my PS3 has been Demolition Derby!

Thanks

Thumbs up Time sure flies.

Saw a ps1 for the first time with tomb raider demo at a retail store. Thought to myself while holding the controller in my hand, "what the heck is this thing, a playstation?!" I tried the demo for a minute or two, couldn't figure what I was suppose to do or where to go in the game. Wasn't impressed with tomb raider or 3-D in general. Walked away, lmao.

Sticked with my supernes, didn't care for mario in 3-D also. I knew atari jaguar and 3DO was gonna bomb.

Final Fantasy X changed all that, plus was very very happy the ps2 was backward compatible with ps1 games.

If only I had my copies for Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2.

But happy 15th birthday, PlayStation! Heh, the franchise is pretty much as old as I 'am already.
