The lowest I had seen was 27.99 at Amazon about a month or so back but nothing that matches or beats that lately.

You're going to be waiting until late 2011 at the very least.

I kinda doubt we'll see a boxset of 8 movies then. But we'll see.

I think I want these ultimate cuts. I'd like to see the whole thing. But I have to wait for a good price.

Honestly, what is the difference in these versions? I know they include the extended editions, but from what I have gathered it's like 7 minutes in the first film and a bit more in the second film. If that, and a few other extras is all they are offering for a whopping price of $27.99 at the cheapest, count me out.

No one has your arm up your back. These are Collectors Editions aimed at folks that do want the extra footage and do what the new extras. If you're not interested, simply don't buy them.

Agree 100%. I looked at the ultimate cuts..they offer some value with extra scenes.

So I'll probably pick these up on BF next year...hopefully they'll be on sale by that time so cheapskates like me and Dr Blu Neo can crack open our vaults for a few shinies.

These are hardly ever on eBay. That's mostly where I get all my good deals from. But, the first Ultimate Edition (Sorcerer's Stone) is $24.99 on Amazon. Strangely the other (Chamber of Secrets) is $29.49. And the newest ones coming out later this year are $34.99. I have a feeling that all 4 of these will be majorly discounted for the holiday season. Most likely $20 for day after Thanksgiving Sale! That's what I am waiting for.

i'll probably jump on the 2 new ones in october (@ least one anyway) and may hold off on the other one closer to x-mas.

but $24.99 is the best deal avail. on the 1st one so far.

FYI...the ones for Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire will not have an extended cut because the directors thought they were fine as is.

Hey everybody , I would like to start getting the Ultimate editions for my kids. Anybody know what the best deals are now, would like to start with 1 and 2. Or do you think I should wait till Black Friday. Thanks for your help.

There was a buy 2 get one 1 free deal on WBshop, but it's expired.

I would wait until Black Friday unless a deal pops up before then.
