We just updated the PlayStation Store with some great LBP items, including the coveted Assassin?s Creed II costume. Now you can scale walls and jump from rooftop to rooftop in style as ?Ezio? Sackboy.

Community Levels!

Here?s a new batch of LittleBigPlanet (PSP) level picks by Cambridge Studios:
-Tinker Tower v2 by JKthree ? A complex level featuring some really good, hardcore platforming action.
-The Frozen Kingdom of Skadi by Lleonard ? Explore the dangerous ice caverns to find the Temple of the goddess Skadi. This level has a great sense of scale and is crammed full of ingenious challenges.
-Sandstorm by Jaeyden ? A beautifully presented Egyptian adventure. Some great platforming and puzzle solving in this level.
-The Lost Crystsal Caverns by ryryryan ? A great level with lots of satisfying platforming and puzzles. Nicely presented, featuring cool characters and storyline.

Fiance and I swung by SonyStyle earlier to get our swag on! We each got free Playstation 3 lanyards, the 2 sheets of LBP window clings shown below, plus another sheet with a different design. They also had a few games on nice big Bravia screens for us to play, and we talked to the Sony reps a bit. One of the reps even gave us a little hands-on time with his own PSP Go!

Hi all,

Forgive my laziness, I didn't want to read through all 368 pages of this thread, but I was seeking helpful answers.

I got my kids LBP when we got our PS3 in January. For Christmas, I am going to give them LBP:GOTY, but a few issues concern me:

* Will we lose (er, "they lose" ) the levels they have made? They aren't much, but my daughter's are so excited by them and are overjoyed when they see another person has played one of theirs.

* Will we lose the things we have downloaded like the birthday costume, turkey head and astronaut? Can these be saved?

All your DLC (downloadable content) will still be there, and I think it's safe to assume that your levels will be in tact. Just don't delete any of the game or save data, and you should be fine.

Did you even read the quoted part of my post? They were a giveaway at most SonyStyle stores nationwide for an event that was held on Saturday.

It seemed like the Playstation Reps brought them, so I dunno whether the SonyStyle stores in your area would have any left, but you can call and ask. You could also try the dreaded e-Bay.

I traded this game in...... why???.....

I now have to buy it again cos I miss it so much. Played the PSP demo and couldnt believe how good it is. Was aching to playing on the PS3 again!! And now, with Online Create, that is excellent!!!!!!!!

This along with MGS4 would be the last games I would even think about trading. And yes, I own Uncharted 2.

I traded in Uncharted 1 too but had to buy that again... what was I thinking!! I should have learned from my mistake! Will pick up LBP though and play through it again.. I look forward to it!

My PS3 died and I lost my game saves - I have to play the game over to get all my materials back (don't really care about the costumes/trophies) - just want all my materials and stickers since I mainly create.

Anyway, when I booted it back up - after playing the first 3 levels I got to go to "Community" levels - I checked, and all my published levels we're still there (obviously, everything I had on my moon was gone).

You're not in any danger of losing your published levels - I would think all your other content would remain as well, but that's just a guess. Hopefully, they've thought that far ahead and it won't "overwrite" any previous data.

At least you can get the GOTY edition with those MM-approved user-created levels. BTW, were those created specifically for that edition? Can I find them in the user community levels?

No, the QUOTED part where the PS Blog said it was limited to 3-hour events.

I did post it the day before the events. Your only hope is calling SonyStyle stores to see if they have any, shaking down a Playstation Rep, or scouring eBay.
