Looking at power conditioners will Voltage Regulation be benificial?

But I still believe that a power conditioner with or without a voltage regulator will be beneficial due to the frequent problems that seem to be occurring with all my HT electronics.

I would hate to jinx you, but it sounds like you have a processor issue. When you said it was refurbished, did you just get it? I would go ahead and check the banana plugs, but I doubt that would be your problem.
