the reality is hd dvd may suck[i dont think so] but lets say it does.
the fact is, the bda must find away to get the players prices down to hd dvd leval. look guys we are passionate about this stuff.
we love this stuff,i loved beta over vhs. but look who won out.
why, price and they could fit long movies on one tape.
i know this is a different thing.
the point is this is not about passion its about making money.
both sides see a goldmine down the road so both sides will say anything to get there the bda does this as well as the hd dvd side does.
this bashing of hd dvd and hd dvd bashing blu-ray is pointless. at this point in time anyside can win.i think warners bros. will in fact turn the tables and that we wont know till it happens meanwhile enjoy hdm because even if one side wins it doesnt mean it will be the next gen in hdm.the longer this war goes on if gives the downloading side to get there stuff together. i for one dont want to see that.
Face it HD-DUD is a dead technology. Dump the toshiba garbage and get with the winning team! The sooner the better.
