I'm holding out for a North American release, too. I haven't seen any rumours on the internet, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get this one in 2010. I have been seeing a lot of Elektra single-disc SD DVDs in clearance bins for as low as $4.99 for months. I feel like I see that frequently, huge clearance sales before the new editions come out.
