Yes you can delete the BD Utility Data. I did it once not thinking of it, becuase I thought what was this I don't need this on here. Then, awhile later I went and re watched a movie I had deleted from the utility and it just reloaded it back into the utility. So, if you don't want to upgrade your hdd then just delete the files.
