Supposedly, the trailer for this is available through Disney BD Live. I have not been able to check this because I do not get BD Live access on my Blu-ray players...

Yes, the trailer is available on Disney BD live. Just access it through any disney blu-ray and you can download the trailer in HD or watch it via stream in low quality. Both films look awesome, I sincerely hope they will add the Irwin Kostal purely digital recording used for the 1982 and 1985 theatrical re-releases as a bonus audio track. It would sound incredible in 7.1. There is a mentioning on the trailer of a Fantasia World with bonus shorts. I hope Disney will provide all of the theatrical release trailers as a bonus as they did with Snow White.

I wouldn't count on it. I don't see Disney restoring Sunflower to Fantasia.

I just watched the trailer. Fantasia is going to look and sound amazing on Bl-Ray.

I hope they port over all of the bonus features from the older DVD from 2000. I would also like to see the Documentary called The Making of a Masterpiece from the CAV Laserdisc Boxset on the Blu-Ray.

I still own that Laserdisc Boxset.

I'm actually a bit worried about the sound for the original Fantasia. Wasn't it like not recorded the best or something?

Fantasia was recorded in 8 channels. It should sound quite amazing.

I understand what you mean.

Fantasia was originally released in 1940, and it was the first movie to use Stereo sound, however it was shown in Mono because no theaters were wired for stereo. In the 1950's stereo began to get widely used for music and a few movies. Then it became in the standard in the late 1970's.

Disney even Re-Recorded the music for Fantasia for the 1982 re-release, because they found that the condition of the sound masters from 1940 were too weak to restore.

For the 1991 Home Video release they restored the original audio from 1940.

I'm not too sure how the DVD of Fantasia sounds with its DTS 5.0 Audio Mix because I do not own that DVD.

But with Mono movies like the early James Bond movies, The Wizard of Oz, and Pinocchio. They have shown how a movie originally recorded in Mono can be restored into a Digital 5.1 Mix.

I don't think that the sound of Fantasia on Blu-Ray will be perfect like it was recorded yesterday, but it will probably sound very nice.

I dunno, just remember hearing something about it a few years back. We'll see when it comes out. I am buying regardless because it is going to be the best it can be no matter what.
