My Walmart carries both Blu-Ray and HD DVD movies, but way more BD's, and they only carry Blu-Ray players (And the PS3). I asked the clerk how well they're doing and he says Blu-Ray makes up for pretty much all of the HD sales he sees there. They sell HD DVD's once in a while but not very often. Mostly they sell PS3's as Blu-Ray players as there's only 2 models of standalones I believe (can't remember which).

Apparently Walmart don't like their sales figures released. I bet if they were though, Blu would be in the 70s ratio on Nielsen.

Because Wal MArt has a system set up for all suppliers called "Retail Link". They can track their items inside any single unit or the whole company in realtime at any given moment.

But not the same amount. My wal-mart has maybe 10 BD titles and only 2 or 3 HDud titles.

My local Walmart has more blu-ray and most of the hd dvd's are boxsets. So i'm happy that more stores are leaning to blu-ray.
