why is the BLUCLAN membership list so thin??? there are barely any members. from all the buzz on here, i expected more.... is there a limit to how many people can be in the clan?

Yes. The game has "issues" right now and clans are limited by half I think.

As to the knife, yep, I use it a lot more now.

Had my first game where I capped the flag all three times.

Last I heard, you're supposed to be able to have 64 people or so in a clan, but the game has a bug and is only allowing 24? 28?

Instead, people have been getting on peoples "friends" list, that way they can go into the "buddy" list in-game during Warhawk and join in their games. It's a fairly decent work-a-round. Not sure if/when they will fix this.

Aa few people added me recently to their friends list for Warhawk.

Anyone else want to add me, feel free. I'm going to be very busy work wise in the next two weeks, but normally, I'm on a little each night, and a few hours at a time when I get the chance.

I think that was the same message from the other day. I was going to suggest that when people list a game room being set up, they list a time and date - that way we know when to hook up, and if the message is outdated.

By the way, how do you make "clan" messages?

Ah, that would explain why I didn't see the room. I agree, that the time & date be in the message.

I think only the clan leader can make a "clan" message, aka Dadds

My ribbons seem to get credited most of the time (nearing 400).

I wish they'd fix the ranking stuff. I hate playing on LVL 4 games with an entire team that doesn't talk and doesn't know that the object is to get the flag.

Oh and here's a new one.

The other day I was in a tank and our base was under attack (about 6 baddies). My Warhawk game starts going into slow motion and freezing for 3-4 seconds here and there.

I assume I'm dead since I was in the middle of it all. I'm about to disconnect the system for a reboot when the game unfreezes. I hit fire, kill the flag carrier and laugh all the way home.

This game is a trip sometimes.

I've been robbed of the knife badge twice now.

It's really bad when you get a badge for something you're not doing often.

Oh, and there should be a medal for killing a Warhawk in the air with a grenade.

Landing on a mine away from everything is classic too.

one thing i hate about warhawk is the individuality. some players (and you might be one of them) are just absolute bastards. unwilling to change teams if its grossly uneven (i do) or kill their teammates in order to score a 'captured flag' for themselves. there was even one player who changed to the team i was on and started pulling team kills and all of a sudden...what do you know...we go from a win to a tie? whhhats that all about? then you've got some people who are playing because its all about the points they earn rather than an exercise in team work. like i mentioned, i've been teamkilled on a couple of occasions when i was heading back to base with the flag just so someone else could score? yeah that got old quick. teamwork? hello? another teammate shot me up with a tank because i grabbed mines before he did? so i kept an eye out for that guy all game though it wasnt right, i hunted him down and tried to knife him to make up for the idiot move he made...then things settled down and everything smoothed out. now tonight, i was just in a game where it was obviously a team of below average players against a team of pros and even though game after game it was quick and painless...easy victories...and the fact that we had a couple more players might have helped? hmm...but no one switched sides to balance it out. (except for myself) and when i did, we ended up somehow still down 1 guy and the outcome was just as ruthless. anytime the game gets unbalanced, i quit and find another server because theres no challenge and no sportsmanship. i play for the teamwork. for the strategy. not for points. alright. i'm done. just had to vent


oh and a big ps. ever since i joined the blu clan....i lost my rankings and controller settings and customized character. i had to reset everything all over again to my liking. whats up with that? is that normal?

Yeah, I have been on the receiving end of TKs for the flag. It gets old quick. I just go to some other game.

As for your loss of rank, settings & customized character, I have no clue.

Has anyone else ever gotten this bug that I've gotten that when you're in Warhawk you're unable to get a certain item (TOW and what not) until after you die?

P.S Yes I've made sure I didn't have the item already.

Please be a true rumor. Dropships would be awesome. (We'd need some huge maps though)

I played a 24 player CTF game the other day and we got in a situation where the flags were switched. One guy started TKing the flag carrier and running it out of the base toward their base. So, he was working for the other team.

Thankfully, I and another player followed him each time and eventually he TKed me one too many times and was booted.

As to the TOW bug thing, nope. Although I have had my missiles not lock and fire a couple of times. Oh, and I just LOVE trying to select a weapon in the corners only to select the up or down weapon.

I have no problem being on the smaller team. I like it when the odds are against me or I'm on the worse team. Gives me more to do.

In fact, I keep ending up on the smaller teams when I join the clan rooms. Many times, when we start, I am the only one on my team! But people are pretty good about switching teams to try and keep it even.

I guess that's one of the many good things about playing with the clan. We got a good group of people playing. Both in skills and demeanor.
