Has anyone seen this in the Vancouver, BC area? I can't find it downtown or on the north shore. Seen copies of Edward Scissorhands and Robocop at FS in West Vancouver (Park Royal loc) but no The Fly. Then I got to other FS locations and they don't have ANY Fox 10/2 or 10/9 releases.

I ordered one earlier today and it's in the "items shipping soon" phase. Delivery estimate is Oct 24th.

Bought mine at J&R Music World. Picture quality is very good. Better than Robocop in fact. Cost me 44 bucks including 2 day shipping. For me it was worth the price to have this title in my collection.

I picked up the fly remake on bluray from fry's. I must say that I was very impressed with the PQ and also the disc itself. they include the extras from the 2 disc set from a couple of years ago.

I hope other fans can find it.
hopefully people will pick it up.. in support with fox about doing it right in the first time around.

He really is brilliant in this isn't he? Such pathos. He does horrible things to poor Stathis Boranz yet you still feel for him. What a movie.

My order for The Fly from Amazon currently says shipping soon - which means it is going out Monday and should be here Tuesday/Wednesday at the latest.

This site and a couple others mis-print the aspect ratio of this blu-ray. They say it's 2.35:1 when actually its 1.85:1. I found a site online that posted the back cover of the box art. Unfortunaly I didnt bookmark it.

Yeah it's not a full 2.35:1 movie.
