American Pie was going to be released on HD-DVD way back in the day but never came out and there hasn't been any rumors about it lately. The Book of Love came out on the same day as the DVD. I don't consider Book of Love to be a part of the American Pie movies. They just seem to be trying to cash in on the American Pie name.

yea neither do I, they should really get these 2 titles out there, I'm sure they will make enough money on 1 & 2

Stifler ruined the third one for me, not sure if it was his decision to be that annoying or if it was in the script.

Liked it better than #2. They finally got rid of all the dead weight (Oz, Heather, Vicky). Kevin should have been in that list too but he wasn't that bad in this one. I liked that Stiffler ended up being a bus driver/coach. Fit his character perfectly. The way he acted though was a tad, ok a mighty bit over the top.

Too bad they turned it into a National Lampoon spinoff-athon. Every single one of those "American Pie Presents" movies are terrible. I was hoping we would see an American Baby or something along those lines. Probably will get that with Meet the Little Fockers.

I loved the first three movies but American Wedding was my favorite because it made me laugh so hard it made my jaw hurt. I didn't care about those "American Pie Presents".

Yeah I didn't even see them because I knew it would just hurt the franchise.

Nope, you are not. I still remember seeing an advanced screening. I've never had an atmosphere like that a movie before--people were quite literally falling out of their seats.

I think each of the three are very funny (I was just watching Am. Pie 2 on StarzHD!) and have a good heart. In a way, they furthered and propelled this whole Apatow trend of making very funny movies that are also sweet, in a way.
