That with pcm audio it the holy grail of home theatre.Bluray guys do not want to take a step backwords to hddvd we are dreaming about starwars in high bitrate video and true lossless pcm audio. Hd dvd can not deliver this kind of quality period.(unless they redesign the format) so never say never.
