What Blu-ray Are You Watching Now For The First Time? - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought Troy and I've never seen it. My dad said it was good, so hopefully it is.

I also bought No Counntry For Old Men a while back and i was very pleased with that film.

These have been the only 2 blind buys I've done so far on blu.

Troy is much better then Alexander. I was surprised. I have it on HD-DVD.

JL, we got snow on the ground here outside Atlanta and there are kids walking on the frozen over pond in our sub-division. Its 23 and think that's the high and the windchill is around 0. I have to get the Day After Tomorrow asap, lol.

haha it didn't even snow here in Augusta! its like 33 here but there's no clouds ha I just bought that movie too! funny.

Rosario Dawson just popped up an hour and a half into the movie, who next? And how embarrassing, he has her come to his room and she sees all his boyfriends, awkwarddddd. lol I think Shakira would have been better for the role, but a naked Dawson, well, this has to be a highlight of the film.

The Dark Crystal - Saw it in the movies when it first came out. I remember my stepfather driving me and my "girlfriend" to the movies on my first "date." Must have been 11 at the time. LOL Cannot wait to see it on Blu-ray later today. My kids are not very enthusiastic about watching this one with dad.

Band of Brothers. Just finished the second part. Definitely not regretting the blind buy at $40.

I'm with you there. I'm only a few episodes into the first season, but I'm liking it so far. I've also been watching Weeds, which I never watched before either. I've been going back and forth between the two and also watching some movies.

I was so close to buying Band of Brothers when best buy had it on sale for $40. I have heard only great things about it but, I decided to get Planet Earth on Blu instead. I am enjoying planet earth but, I hope Band of Brothers goes on sale again soon. I could rent it on DVD but I'm trying to hold out for the Blu-ray.
